New York Jets defensive tackle, Quinnen Williams, who is eligible for a contract extension this offseason says he does not have money on his mind as training camp begins, per Brian Costello of the New York Post. He feels the contract situation will pan itself out when the time comes.
Fantasy Impact: As the third overall pick in the 2019 draft, going into his fourth season, Quinnen Williams has expressed how excited he is to enter this year after a healthy offseason. Foot surgery last April prevented him from doing any offseason workouts last season. In 2021, Williams one of the more consistent defensive tackles in IDP formats after he recorded 36 solo tackles, 17 assisted tackles, six sacks, and three pass deflections. After a healthy offseason, the Jets defensive linemen will have the opportunity to climb up the rankings as his numbers should continue to increase while being led by one of the greatest defensive minds in the NFL, Robert Saleh.
