Raheem Mostert recorded nine carries for 29 yards in Sunday’s 23-21 loss to the Patriots. He also caught all eight of his targets for 62 yards and a touchdown.
Fantasy Impact: Mostert has provided big games all season at the expense of being very inconsistent. Remarkably, the veteran tailback lead the Dolphins in targets, receptions, and receiving yards on Sunday. However, the large number of targets to both running backs (Mostert and Jeff Wilson Jr) was a massive outlier. A main reason for this outlier is due to the Dolphins having to turn to both of their second and third string quarterbacks in the same game. Mostert is a risky start with some upside against a tough Jets defense in Miami in Week 18.
