Raiders fire head coach Josh McDaniels

It was announced late Tuesday night that the Raiders have fired head coach Josh McDaniels.

Fantasy Impact: “After much thought about what the Raiders need to move forward, I have decided to part ways with Josh and Dave,” owner Mark Davis said in a statement. “I want to thank them both for their hard work and wish them and their families nothing but the best.” General manager Dave Ziegler was also fired. McDaniels and Ziegler were both hired in January of 2022 by the Raiders. It was announced that current linebackers coach Antonio Pierce will serve as the team’s interim head coach.
