Trey Wingo reports Rodgers coming back to GB hinges on the team trading for former teammate Randall Cobb. If Cobb is in Green Bay it looks like Rodgers will be, too.
Fantasy Impact: Cobb injured his toe in Week 11 last season and was placed on season ending injured reserve. The 30-year-old WR is far removed from his Pro Bowl season with Rodgers in 2014, but could still act as a viable option for the Packers, who have struggled to find a WR2. He is under contract with Houston for the next two seasons after signing a three-year, $27 million deal last offseason. There are no reports regarding what it would take for them to part ways, but if this trade happens then it proves the Packers are willing to do anything to keep their superstar QB with the team for at least one more run.
