The Kansas City Chiefs have come to terms with second-round WR Rashee Rice on a rookie contract.
Fantasy Impact: Rice’s role in Kansas City is hard to determine because the Chiefs’ WR core is a mystery again. Rice excelled in college as a tough-catch maker, using his elite ball skills to haul in 96 passes for 1,355 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2022 at SMU. Rice could find a role as a receiver in the intermediate parts of the field but will share the ball with WRs Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Kadarius Toney, Skyy Moore and Richie James Jr. His current average half-PPR draft position is WR64.
