Rashod Bateman expected to play in Week 9

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is reporting Ravens WR Rashod Bateman (groin) is expected to play in Week 9.

Fantasy Impact: While Bateman is dealing with a groin injury, he is expected to play against the Vikings. Bateman has drawn 6+ targets in each of the first two games he was active this season but with the impending return of Sammy Watkins, we will see if the rookie’s opportunity share is maintained. Both of the injured Ravens’ receivers are in the low-end PPR Flex conversation for Week 9 but would have to score to return any kind of decent fantasy value. Bateman and Watkins could ultimately catabolize each other.
