Riley Patterson was 2-for-3 on field goal attempts (44,48) and was 3-of-3 extra points in Jacksonville’s 27-20 win over the Raiders in Week 9.
Fantasy Impact: Patterson is now 13-of-15 on field goal attempts this season and 18-of-19 on extra points. It was the first time in four games that Patterson had made more than one field goal and just the fourth time all season. Patterson remains a talented kicker with a big leg and the Jaguars finally gave him multiple opportunities to score. Despite his miss that doinked off the upright, Patterson has been one of the more reliable fantasy kickers when he has been given scoring chances this season. Those chances have been sporadic but if Jacksonville can get back on track offensively like they didn’t in Week 9, Patterson could make for an interesting fantasy option in the second half of the season. You could do much worse looking for a bye-week replacement kicker when Jacksonville travels to Kansas City in Week 10.
