According to Ari Meirov of the33rdteam.com, the Tennessee Titans are releasing WR Robert Woods after just one season with the team.
Fantasy Impact: The move is made to save cap as the Titans will clear up $12 million in the process, according to Meirov. Woods led the Titans in receiving in 2022, posting 527 yards on 53 catches as the Titans offense struggled, scoring just 17.5 points a game. This clears the way for soon-to-be-second-year players WR Treylon Burks and TE Chigoziem Okonkwo and allows Woods to explore free agency.
