The Miami Dolphins plan to bring back RB Salvon Ahmed on a one-year deal for a fifth season with the team.
Fantasy Impact: Since Ahmed’s rookie season when he started four games, appeared in six and posted 380 scrimmage yards with a trio of touchdowns for a 10-win Dolphins team, he has not eclipsed an offensive snap share of more than 26% in a season. Each year, though, his special teams snaps have increased, playing a third of the team’s snaps in his eight games last season. With RB Jeff Wilson Jr. a potential cap cut candidate, Ahmed could find himself as the RB3/4 in a backfield with RBs De’Von Achane, Raheem Mostert and Chris Brooks, serving as a depth piece and special teamer.
