According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, QB Sam Darnold, who has been on injured reserve, could be slated to return for Week 8 against the Falcons.
Fantasy Impact: Darnold’s 2021 season was rough, prompting the Panthers to move on from him and acquire QB Baker Mayfield. However, with Mayfield struggling to open the season and both recovering from ankle injuries, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Darnold make a push to play again in 2022.
