Sam Darnold completed 15-of-22 pass attempts for 250 yards and a touchdown while rushing six times for 19 yards and a touchdown in Carolina’s 37-23 win over the Lions on Saturday.
Fantasy Impact: It was the rushing attack that dominated the day for the Panthers but Darnold turned in a solid effort himself on Christmas Eve. The quarterback, in a dream fantasy matchup, was efficient through the air and also managed to find the endzone on the ground. Darnold and the Panthers now find themselves right in the division race and have a big matchup against Tampa Bay in Week 17.
