Sam Darnold completed 11-of-19 pass attempts for 164 yards and one touchdown while adding three rushes for three yards and a touchdown in Carolina’s 23-10 win over the Broncos on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact: Darnold led the Panthers to a win in his first start with the team of the season on Sunday, which may be just enough to keep his job for another week. The quarterback wasn’t asked to do much throwing the ball, as they kept their offense on the ground for the majority of the game. The USC product should not be started in any fantasy format, although it is significant to see DJ Moore have some success with Darnold under center.
