According to PFF’s Ari Meirov, the Carolina Panthers have announced that QB Sam Darnold will start on Sunday against the Denver Broncos.
Fantasy Impact: Darnold will be the third different quarterback to start a game for the Panthers this season. Darnold opened the season injured and wasn’t elevated to the active roster until mid-season, but with QB PJ Walker injured and Baker Mayfield struggling to find his footing, Darnold will get his first chance this season after being the team’s starter all of last season. Darnold, much like last season, though, doesn’t provide a ton of fantasy upside.
