Sam Ehlinger taking first-team reps during practice

Indianapolis Colts rookie QB Sam Ehlinger is taking first-team reps during practice for the first time, per Zak Keefer of The Athletic.

Fantasy Impact: It should be noted that this doesn’t mean Ehlinger is the new starter for the Colts; he’s just getting some first-team reps in. However, he has impressed so far in camp, and there may be a competition brewing between him and QB Jacob Eason to play while Carson Wentz is hurt. Ehlinger carried the Texas Longhorns during his time in college, and he’s one of the most prolific passers in the school’s history.
