Sam LaPorta shines in big Week 3 win

Sam LaPorta caught 8-of-11 targets for 84 yards and a touchdown in Detroit’s 20-6 win over the Atlanta Falcons.

Fantasy Impact: LaPorta looked terrific on Sunday, scoring a touchdowns and being highly involved in a quality win over the Falcons. Many thought that he would get off to a slow start to the year, as most rookie tight ends do, but he is proving that wrong and could very well be a top-five option for the rest of the season. He’ll have an opportunity to continue to build off of his momentum on Thursday night against the Packers.
