Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Vikings have agreed to terms with veteran DT Sheldon Richardson.
Fantasy Impact: Richardson, 30-years old, spent the 2018 season with the Vikings during which he had five sacks and 49 tackles. Following this Richardson signed a three-year, $36M contract with Cleveland, but was released in 2020 to clear cap space. Now, Richardson returns to Minnesota on a new contract with details still to come. The Vikings already brought in Dalvin Tomlinson to help improve the interior of the defensive line in tandem with Michael Pierce. Richardson will likely have a rotational role but still has the necessary skill set to contribute when called upon.
