The Buffalo Bills have selected OT Spencer Brown with the No. 93 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact: The massive, 6’8″ Brown was clearly drafted as a developmental project by the Bills. The 22-year old from Northern Iowa had his 2020 season postponed due to COVID-19 but his tape from 2019 indicates a bruising giant that has quick hands and great power when sealing run blocks. The Bills don’t have perennial All-Pro linemen protecting QB Josh Allen, so perhaps head coach Sean McDermott can expedite Brown’s learning curve while adapting him to the speed of the NFL. The former defensive end and tight end packed on significant weight to convert to tackle, which is a valuable experience that he can use to his benefit when faced against stronger edge rushers.
