NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is reporting Lions TE T.J. Hockenson (knee) is expected to play in Week 5.
Fantasy Impact: Hockenson is dealing with a knee injury that has limited him in practice this week. However, barring a setback, he should be good-to-go for Sunday’s road matchup with the Vikings. Hockenson was off to a good start this season but has been quiet in his past two outings despite drawing 10 total targets in that two-game period. The Vikings have defended enemy tight ends well this season, but in an anticipated high-scoring game, Hockenson should have every opportunity to get back on track and perform as a top-end fantasy tight end. The Vikings have yet to allow a tight end to score a touchdown against them in 2021.
