According to PFF’s Ari Meirov, Indianapolis Colts general manager Chris Ballard told reporters that re-signing T.Y. Hilton is still “in the mix.”
Fantasy Impact: The Colts are still looking for a veteran WR to pair alongside the trio of WRs Michael Pittman, Parris Campbell and rookie Alec Pierce. Hilton has played 10 seasons with the Colts, starting nine games in Indianapolis last season. Even with arguably an upgrade at QB in Matt Ryan, Hilton wouldn’t have much fantasy value at this stage of his career. Hilton had seven consecutive seasons as a top-24 WR in fantasy to start his career, but he has failed to crack the top-40 players at the position in each of his last three seasons. With his late-career injury concerns, he wouldn’t be much more than a rotational pass catcher and a veteran presence in the locker room.
