Terrance Mitchell placed on injured reserve by 49ers

According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston, the San Francisco 49ers are placing CB Terrance Mitchell on injured reserve, ending his 2023 season.

Fantasy Impact: Mitchell, 31, is a veteran in the NFL having played for six teams since being drafted in the seventh round in 2014. He has started 56 games, caught nine interceptions and defended 63 passes in his career. Mitchell signed with the 49ers a week ago after starting five games for Tennessee in 2022. The 49ers lose another body at the corner position, though they brought in Anthony Averett to help.
