Pittsburgh Steelers S Terrell Edmunds will not have his fifth-year option picked up by the team, per Tom Pelissero.
Fantasy Impact: Edmunds was outplayed in the secondary by fellow teammate and Steelers’ S Minkah Fitzpatrick in 2020 but finished the season with 68 tackles, eight pass deflections, and two interceptions across 15 games. He enters his fourth season with the Steelers declining to pick up his fifth-year option, which could motivate the 24-year old to ball out with a chip on his shoulder. The Steelers’ pass defense took some heat for their performance in 2020 but ranked top-three in yards allowed per game (305.8) by the end of the season, a good sign for the current state of its defensive unit.
