Terry McLaurin left Monday night’s game with an injury which is now believed to be turf toe. It is not thought to be serious but he will have an MRI later Tuesday to determine the exact severity of the injury.
Fantasy Impact: The severity will greatly determine McLaurin’s outlook this season. Turf toe injuries can range from mild and hardly keeping a player off the field, to being out for several months. Thankfully McLaurin’s injury sounds to be on the lighter end, so he should only miss a short amount of time. Washington plays the lowly Cardinals in the season opener and likely won’t be in desperate need of his services. The schedule ramps up after that though, and they will need their top receiver on the field. Until he returns, Jahan Dotson is the unquestioned top target in the passing game.
