Travis Etienne Jr. rushed for 47 yards on four carries and caught 2-of-4 targets for 18 yards in Jacksonville’s 28-22 loss to the Commanders in Week 1.
Fantasy Impact: Etienne made his long awaited NFL debut in Week 1 against Washington and basically did what he did while he was injured last year; ceded all his work to James Robinson. Robinson is less than nine months removed from a torn Achilles and somehow appears to have retaken over the backfield from Etienne, out-touching him 12-to-6. Etienne managers were not happy when they heard the news that Robinson would be active in Week 1 and their fears appear to be justified. Etienne was likely drafted as an RB1 or RB2 so managers likely need to roll with him for another week or so before making a decision on the second year back, who is still loaded with potential and coming off his own Lisfranc injury.
