According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Cincinnati Bengals RB Trayveon Williams was carted off in practice and is believed to have a mild ankle sprain. He will undergo further testing.
Fantasy Impact: If his initial diagnosis is correct, he will miss a couple weeks with his injury. If so, Williams should be ready to go for the regular season. Williams should be able to have an increased role in the offense in 2023 with RB Semaje Perine in Denver. The fifth-year back has appeared in 34 games in his career and will play as the Bengals’ backup to Joe Mixon alongside Chris Evans and rookie Chase Brown.
