Trayveon Williams ‘still competing’ to be Bengals’ third-down back

Trayveon Williams (sprained ankle) is still in the mix to be the Bengals’ third-down back, despite previous indications the role would fall to Chris Evans, per HC Zac Taylor.

Fantasy Impact: Williams has a chance to make an impact with the departure of Samaje Perine (signed with Denver). Williams will have to fight for touches with Evans, Joe Mixon, and rookie Chase Brown. Things are pretty murky on the Bengals RB depth chart below Mixon, and Williams is probably not worth a pick in your fantasy draft.
