NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is reporting 49ers LT Trent Williams (knee) is expected to play in Week 8.
Fantasy Impact: Williams, who has not played since suffering a knee injury in Week 5’s loss to the Cardinals, is expected to return to the field for Sunday’s matchup with the Bears. The 49ers have missed their bookend left tackle after Jimmy Garoppolo felt immense pressure in Week 7’s loss to the Colts with Williams sidelined. Garoppolo was sacked twice and threw two picks in that primetime loss.
