Despite a promising start to the season, Trevor Lawrence’s performance in Week 2 was less than stellar.
Fantasy Impact: The 23-year-old quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars completed 22 of his 41 passing attempts, totaling 216 passing yards, but failed to secure a touchdown or avoid an interception. Lawrence also attempted to make plays on the ground, rushing five times for 26 yards, but again, the end zone remained elusive. The Jaguars’ loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, 17-9, was a tough pill to swallow, especially considering Lawrence’s season stats to date: 73 passing attempts, 46 completions, 457 passing yards, and 2 passing touchdowns. Looking ahead to Week 3, Lawrence and the Jaguars will face off against the Houston Texans. The young QB will need to step up his game if he hopes to improve his stats and lead his team to victory.
