Projected No. 1 overall pick and top draft prospect QB Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) resumed throwing a few weeks ago after undergoing successful surgery on his left shoulder earlier this offseason.
Fantasy Impact: The former Clemson quarterback led the Tigers to the College Football Playoff in all three seasons as a starter, tossing 90 touchdowns and just 17 interceptions. Lawrence also used his deceptive open-field speed to tack on another 943 yards and 18 rushing touchdowns to prove his value as a complete dual-threat quarterback. Jacksonville has been linked to Lawrence since the end of last season and Jaguars’ new head coach Urban Meyer reportedly has established a close relationship with the top prospect. Lawrence joins other notable quarterbacks in the draft who underwent surgery in recent years but the fact that it is his non-throwing arm should not dissuade front offices and scouting departments in the closing days leading up to the draft.
