Tua Tagovailoa completed 23 of his 33 pass attempts for 270 yards and one touchdown in Sunday’s 20-7 win against the Patriots. He also recorded two carries for zero yards and fumbled once which was fortunately recovered by the offense.
Fantasy Impact: Tagovailoa had a modest game as the Dolphins didn’t require much out of their offense in this one. Tyreek Hill became the clear favourite target for Tagovailoa as he received 12 of the 31 available targets. We will receive more indication on if Tua has the ability to become a back-end QB1 in fantasy in a game script where the Dolphins are trailing. For now, the Alabama product doesn’t have much value in single quarterback leagues.
