Tyler Allgeier rushed for 39 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries while catching two passes for negative yardage in Sunday’s 31-28 loss to the Vikings.
Fantasy Impact: Allgeier led the Falcons in carries Sunday afternoon much to the chagrin of rookie Bijan Robinson’s fantasy managers and Atlanta fans alike. It’s not that Allgeier is a poor running back. He just simply does not offer the dynamic play-making ability of Robinson. Allgeier found the end zone for the third time on the ground this season in Sunday’s game, but he is still averaging only 3.2 yards on his 116 carries this season. Allgeier warrants a roster spot in pretty much all fantasy leagues, but he is a tough start in standard-depth formats.
