Tyler Allgeier rushed 10 times for 99 yards and hauled in his lone target for 24 yards in Atlanta’s Week 9 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.
Fantasy Impact: Allgeier got off to a fast start, as he ripped off a 44-yard run on the third play of the game, to help the Falcons eventually earn a touchdown on the opening drive. He led the team in rushing yards and was incredibly efficient with 9.9 yards per carry. He additionally finished second in receiving yards with 24. However, it was Cordarrelle Patterson who led the team with 13 carries and punched in both scores. Allgeier has received double-digit rushing attempts in seven of eight weeks he’s played this season, though his workload may decrease going forward with Patterson back in the mix. Allgeier will remain a touchdown-dependent RB3/RB4 against the Panthers in Week 10.
