Van Jefferson returned from a knee injury and was targeted five times on Sunday, but was unable to record a catch in a 16-13 loss to the Buccaneers.
Fantasy Impact: To reiterate, Jefferson did in fact return on Sunday despite the fact that he may as well not have, given the results. Jefferson tied Allen Robinson for second on the team with the five targets though he was unable to do anything with them. It wasn’t all his fault, as QB Matthew Stafford completely missed Jefferson on at least two deep balls that could have went for long gains. He will now hope to record his first stat of the season against the Cardinals in Week 10.
