According to the Chicago Tribune’s Brad Biggs, rookie WR Velus Jones Jr. is doubtful for Week 3 for the Chicago Bears after being inactive in weeks 1 and 2.
Fantasy Impact: Jones has yet to make his NFL debut after being the Bears’ third-round pick. Chicago has largely ignored their passing game this far through the season, though, as QB Justin Fields sits 33rd in the NFL in pass attempts. Even with Jones likely out, it’s hard to recommend any Chicago pass catchers. No Bears have more than 60 receiving yards through two games, and WR Darnell Mooney and TE Cole Kmet have a combined four yards.
