The Commanders’ defense surrendered 38 points on 431 yards of total offense in Thursday’s blowout loss against the Cowboys.
Fantasy Impact: Believe it or not, the Commanders’ defense actually hung tough over the first three quarters of Sunday’s 45-10 loss to the Cowboys, allowing just 20 points and none in the third quarter. The Washington unit appeared to simply run out of gas after that, as the Cowboys’ offense added 18 points to their lead during the first nine minutes of the fourth quarter. The Commanders also failed to pick up a single sack or force a turnover, so this was a complete wash for the defense from a fantasy perspective too. The Washington defense is definitely not recommended for a Week 13 matchup with the Dolphins.
