Not only that, but it’s a big blow to the rookie running back, who will miss out on vital preseason reps. When healthy, he’s the clear top backup to Kenneth Walker and starter if Walker misses time. It’s a setback that he should be able to overcome, but his season might get off to a slower start than he would have otherwise.
