Zay Jones caught 1-of-3 targets for 12 yards in Jacksonville’s 16-15 loss to Pittsburgh on Saturday.
Fantasy Impact: Jones was brought in this off-season to replace the speed that was lost when DJ Chark left for Detroit. Jones has shown flashes of brilliance since being drafted by Buffalo in 2017 but not consistency. He had a great 2018 where he made 56 receptions for 652 yards and seven touchdowns but has scored just twice total over the last four seasons. He will be responsible for stretching the field in Jacksonville and could be in line for his first fantasy-relevant season since ’18, and be much more productive than he was the last three seasons in Oakland/Las Vegas. Fantasy managers who draft him for his situation potentially want to hold off on starting him until they see how he produces to start to the season.
