New York Giants expected to hire Chiefs QB coach Mike Kafka as their new OC

Per Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, the New York Giants are expected to hire Chiefs QB coach Mike Kafka as their new offensive coordinator.

Fantasy Impact: While the deal isn’t fully complete there is a strong expectation that Kafka has found his new home as the next offensive coordinator for the Giants. This hire would be the latest effort by New York to surround QB Daniel Jones with coaches that have developed great, young QB talents in the NFL like Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen. Seemingly the Giants are giving Jones one last chance to prove he can be their answer at QB as he now has improved coaching with offensive improvements likely coming in free agency and the draft.
