Cam Akers rushed for 37 yards on eight carries in Sunday’s loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Fantasy Impact: The Rams backfield has been a mess all season but the surprising release of Darrell Henderson earlier in the week at least provided a little bit of clarity for Akers. The third-year RB got the start, but was out-touched by rookie Kyren Williams. His 4.6 yards per carry average is a good sign, but the Rams’ dismal offense and split work with Williams means Akers should remain on fantasy benches next week against Seattle.
