Miles Sanders rushed 21 times for 65 yards and caught his only target for six yards in Saturday’s loss to the Dallas Cowboys. He also lost a fumble.
Fantasy Impact: Sanders received his most carries since Week 12 against the Packers, when he rushed 21 times for 143 yards and two touchdowns. Unfortunately, he found less success in this contest and compounded things by losing a fumble for the second week in a row. Sanders saw an increased workload with Jalen Hurts out of the lineup but averaged just 3.1 yards per carry on the day. Backup RB Kenneth Gainwell played 42% of the team’s offensive snaps in Week 16 and could continue to eat into Sanders’ playing time if he continues to struggle with ball security.
