Emari Demercado sees just three touches in Week 6

Emari Demercado carried the ball twice for 11 yards and added a six-yard reception in a 26-9 loss to the Rams in Week 6.

Fantasy Impact: Demercado was a popular waiver add ahead of Week 6 after totaling 57 all-purpose yards and a TD in Week 5. Instead, it was veteran Keaontay Ingram who led the Cardinals in rushing opportunities. For now, it appears that Demercado will be the team’s backup RB while James Conner (knee) is on injured reserve. Demercado can be sent back to waivers ahead of a Week 7 matchup against Seattle.
