Washington Redskins rookie wide receivers Trey Quinn and Cam Sims both suffered ankle injuries in Week 1 against the Cardinals and didn’t return to the game. Head coach Jay Gruden said both wideouts will have MRI exams on Monday, but the team won’t know the extent of the injuries until then. With both rookies out and Maurice Harris already out with a concussion, the team had just three receivers healthy for the rest of the game. Sims was hurt on the opening kickoff and Quinn was hurt on a punt return in the third quarter after returning two punts for 12 yards. Quinn and Sims won’t really factor into the offense this year unless injuries ahead of them open up playing time.
