New York Giants LT Nate Solder has agreed in principle to a reworked deal to stay with the organization in 2021, as reported by NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Fantasy Impact: Solder will reportedly stay in New York for 2021, continuing to play at left tackle on a restructured contract barring any last-minute changes with negotiations. The Giants released Pro-Bowl guard Kevin Zeitler earlier in the week, a move done to stay under the league’s reduced salary cap for the upcoming season. Solder was willing to restructure his contract to ensure a return to his starting role at left tackle, giving the Giants money back to help with further development of the offense in 2021.
