Former Carolina Panthers WR/KR Pharoh Cooper is reportedly signing a deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars, per Ian Rapoport.
Fantasy Impact: Cooper spent 2020 with the Carolina Panthers, mostly functioning as a punt and kick returner, where he previously excelled enough to earn All-Pro and Pro-Bowl nods with the Rams back in 2017. He will likely be used in a similar fashion in Jacksonville, filling a need on their special teams’ units, an area that new head coach Urban Meyer places a great deal of emphasis. Cooper is unlikely to hold relevancy in most fantasy formats but he will have a key role in setting up the Jaguars’ offense to start with good field position.
