Steelers RB Benny Snell is facing stiff competition for the backup role and could end up a cut candidate in the near future.
Fantasy Impact: Snell was allowed to take the lead back role in Pittsburgh in 2020 with James Conner sidelined with injuries but could never really take advantage. However, with the drafting of Najee Harris and the signing of journeyman Kalen Ballage, Snell aims to prove he’s more than “just a guy” heading into training camp. Whether it be Snell or Ballage, the handcuff to Harris will be a valuable insurance policy for fantasy managers in 2021.
