Bills wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders has not been a full participant in training camp due to a foot injury. “It shouldn’t shock people that Emmanuel Sanders is making a smooth transition to this offense,” writes Matthew Fairburn of The Athletic. “The only thing holding him back is that he’s been in and out of practice with a foot injury. But when he’s been on the field, Allen is looking his way often during practice.”
Fantasy Impact: As Fairburn suggests, Sanders, who departed New Orleans before signing with Buffalo this offseason, should have a sizable role in the Bills’ offense. While the foot injury is holding him back in camp, he has still taken reps on the field and is building a rapport with Josh Allen. If Sanders can stay healthy, he should be the 2A wide receiver in this offense and can carry fantasy relevance even amidst the presence of Gabriel Davis, who is likely the 2B option. The former caught 61 passes for 726 yards and five touchdowns last season. He currently ranks 68th among wideouts in the latest expert consensus draft rankings.
