The end is near! The end is near!
So many injuries this week, including two of the league’s most talented players, Dalvin Cook and Christian McCaffrey. This week’s waiver wire will hopefully help you get through the injuries and vault yourself into the playoffs. Here is your Week 13 Waiver Wire:
Note: Teams on bye include Panthers, Browns, Packers, Titans

Week 13 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Targets: Likely Available (Under 50% owned)
Chuba Hubbard, CAR- RB (40%)
Christian McCaffrey has been unexpectedly ruled out for the season, which leaves us to turn back to Hubbard. Not much explaining really needs to be done here. When McCaffrey is out, Hubbard is a weekly RB2. It’s as simple as that.
Boston Scott, PHI- RB (19%)
It’s always difficult to trust a Philadelphia running back nowadays, but Boston Scott seems to be the one who will take over the RB1 role. With Miles Sanders hurt, Scott handled 15 rush attempts for a touchdown, although he did fumble the ball. I would only start Scott if you absolutely have to, but given all of the injuries last week there’s a chance that situation might come.
Jamaal Williams, DET- RB (39%)
Jamaal Williams is surging back into relevance now that Deandre Swift is expected to miss his Week 13 date with the Vikings. Williams, who has already seen a solid amount of volume for a backup, is expected to take over full RB1 duties and can be trusted as a low-end RB2 option this week. In addition, Williams has also seen volume in the passing game, making him a priority pickup.
Matt Breida, BUF- RB (23%)
All of a sudden Matt Breida has completely replaced Zack Moss’s role in the Bills’ backfield. Breida has scored 3 touchdowns in the last 3 weeks and has been used in the passing game as well as the rushing game. With almost 200 yards over that 3 game stretch and Moss out of the equation, Breida could serve as a stable depth option as long as he keeps his role on the roster.
Taysom Hill, NO- QB (5%)
Ian Rapoport reported that Taysom Hill had been taking reps as the QB1 for the Saints this week, and is expected to start over Trevor Siemian. Starting Taysom Hill is a huge gamble, although it’s a high-risk, high-reward scenario due to Hill’s versatility as a runner and pass-catcher. For desperate teams, Hill is definitely worth the risk.
Week 13 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Targets: Worth a Look (Over 50% owned)
Julio Jones, TEN- WR (62%)
Who would’ve thought Julio Jones would only be 62% owned in fantasy? Well, that’ll likely change. AJ Brown landed on the IR, and the decimated Titans will be depending on Julio out of their bye week. The future HOFer should begin to rejoin rosters this week.
Alexander Mattison, MIN- RB (51%)
Dalvin Cook’s ugly shoulder injury should sideline him for a couple of weeks, leaving handcuff RB Alexander Mattison to take the lead. When Dalvin Cook was hurt early in the season, Mattison was quite productive, and you can assume that will resume. Mattison should be picked up in every league if not rostered already.
Kenny Golladay, NYG- WR (58%)
We all know Kenny Golladay’s potential, and the firing of OC Jason Garrett may have been the key to unlocking it. Week 12 saw Golladay have the most targets he’s had since his 116-yard performance in Week 4. Of those targets, a couple were also in the endzone. The Giants have reportedly been specifically trying to get Golladay his first touchdown in his New York career, so if Golladay is available, he’d be worth your time.
