Welcome to DraftKings Week 7! I don’t know what type of menace consumed my brain last week: my projections, for the most part, weren’t good and they were absurdly high, almost as high as I must have been making them. I owe an apology for anyone who started Denver’s defense off of my analysis but to be fair, most were not expecting that. Not even Tony Romo could have predicted such an anomaly. Let’s get back on track, shall we?

Stacks that I like this week
Mariota and Walker — With the Titans slated to play the atrocious Browns defense, Mariota is poised for a big game. Walker has been his favorite target ever since Mariota entered the league and the Browns TE defense is still abysmal.
Wentz and Jeffery — With Norman and Breeland doubtful for Week 7, look for Jeffery to finally have the game that fantasy owners have been praying for. Wentz has been red hot as of late, having thrown 7 TDs and just a single interception over his last two outings.
QB’s that I like
Drew Brees — While the Packers will try to run the ball to keep the Saints’ offense off the field, this will only work for so long. They will have to throw the ball to play catch up. Hundley is still an NFL QB that’s capable of putting up points at home against an improving Saints defense, which in turn means more passing attempts for Brees. Look for the Saints to try and establish the running game in order to tire out the defense and then air them out like nobody’s business.

Dak Prescott — The 49ers have the potential to actually put up points this game against a mediocre Cowboys defense. Prescott will throw the ball more than usual and be incredibly efficient. Pair him up with Bryant if you can afford it, his breakout is coming.

RB’s that I like
Devonta Freeman — The Patriots D-line is by far the weakest part of their historic yet exploitable team. Freeman will surely grab his fair share of receptions as well as gash this team up on the ground. Coleman will have a nice game for himself as well.

Duke Johnson — With Kizer SOMEHOW regaining the starting job, Duke is now fantasy relevant again. The Browns will be forced to air the ball out a lot this game.

WR’s that I like
Adam Thielen — With Diggs not playing this week, Thielen could easily see upwards of 10 targets against a vulnerable Ravens slot corner spot. While this could be a low scoring game, the Vikings might have trouble running the ball this week against an above average run defense.

Julio Jones — Possibly the most talked about player heading into Week 7, Julio has been pretty awful. To many people’s surprise, he has still not had a receiving touchdown. Dan Quinn is just as frustrated as Julio is and vouched to give Julio more targets. His matchup is golden but what makes this matchup even better than most people know is the D-line vs. O-line matchup. The reason why Julio hasn’t been getting targeted often is because of the lack of time that Ryan has had to throw the ball. Regaining a huge piece of the O-line to full health this week is crucial. Also playing one of the worst defensive lines helps. Buy low in fantasy leagues while you still can.

TE’s that I like
Hunter Henry — The Broncos have a great defense; no one can deny that. However, they still have trouble guarding the tight end. The Chargers will have to throw the ball, and with Allen having an incredibly tough assignment, look for Henry to pick up the slack.

George Kittle — He’s got incredible chemistry with Beathard as he was his college quarterback. They’re going to have to throw the ball a lot this game.

DST’s that I like
Giants — They have struggled mightily versus the run this year, except for last week, however, who is going to run the ball against them at home this week? The Seahawks have no one that poses a threat to the Giants D-line. The Giants have been arguably the best team in football guarding the WR.

Jaguars — Brissett is starting again, which is great news for the Jags. Ramsey will lock up Hilton, forcing Brissett to be bottled up in the pocket.
