FanDuel Quarterback – Week 7 DFS Picks
Tyrod Taylor (vs. TB, $7,000)
A lot of quarterbacks have positive matchups this week, including two elite players in Tom Brady and Matt Ryan. While Taylor lacks in the raw skill and offensive weapons of the other two, he has the advantage of being priced $2,000 cheaper. Not only have the Buccaneers gotten torched by QBs, they have allowed an average of 20.77 FD points to opposing QBs this season, but Tyrod Taylor has played significantly better at home than on the road over the past season and a half. In his past 10 games he has a total of 16 touchdowns at home as opposed to 10 on the road in 11 games. That said, Taylor presents a nice intersection of value and matchup in Week 7.
Dak Prescott(vs. SF, $8,400)
Prescott’s yards per attempts was always going to decline this season, but he has made up for it by increasing his touchdown percentage. That’s a tradeoff any fantasy player will take, and one that should continue into Week 7 as the Cowboys take on the 49ers who have allowed nine passing touchdowns and 7.8 yards per attempt to opposing quarterbacks this season. Prescott’s two rushing touchdowns illustrate his rushing upside as well, just another way for Prescott to be productive.
FanDuel Running Backs – Week 7 DFS Picks
Devonta Freeman(vs. NE, $7,800)
Both Tevin Coleman and Devonta Freeman are heading into an excellent matchup against the Patriots in Week 7, who have allowed the third most FanDuel points per game to opposing running backs this season. Prior to last week, Freeman had out touched Coleman, and by a large margin, every week of the season. If some of Freeman’s ownership shifts to Coleman this week, this is the time to jump on Freeman in a great matchup with at least some depreciated ownership.
Leonard Fournette (@ IND, $9,000)
Fournette provides an excellent floor for fantasy owners, as he has gotten over 20 carries in three of five Jaguars’ games this season. He is also their go to option on the goal line, and that matches nicely with a Rams’ defense that has allowed seven rushing touchdowns this season, most in the league.
Note: If Fournette is unable to play Sunday, Chris Ivory should slide into the workhorse role and become an automatic cash game play.
FanDuel Wide Receivers – Week 7 DFS Picks
Robert Woods (vs. ARI, $5,500)
Over the past four weeks, Woods has established quite a target floor for himself as he has seen at least six targets and also remained efficient in turning those targets into catches. The main thing holding him back from being a fantasy value is his lack of touchdowns, however, this week he matches up against the Cardinals’ who have allowed 13 touchdown passes through the air this season. With Patrick Peterson likely locking down Sammy Watkins, the field should open up for Woods, who has seen more consistent targets than Cooper Kupp, making him a value at his price tag.
Julio Jones (vs. MIA, $9,200)
The Falcons had two weeks to stew about their performance in their Week 4 loss to the Bills and the Dolphins have allowed big time numbers to the likes of Michael Thomas and Robby Anderson. Not that targets were ever a concern for Jones, but with Mohamed Sanu out, Jones should be peppered with targets both inside and outside the red zone. That makes both opportunity and matchup a positive for Jones, a recipe for a big performance from him.
FanDuel Tight End – Week 7 DFS Pick
Jimmy Graham (@NYG, $5,800)
Jimmy Graham has rebounded from a slow start to the season to become a consistent contributor at the tight end position. As is well known, there is no better matchup for tight ends than the Giants, which makes it curious that Graham’s price tag is so low. That’s something to take advantage of.
FanDuel Defense – Week 7 DFS Pick
Minnesota Vikings (vs. BAL, $4,700)
Minnesota is a top-10 defense in terms of forcing both interceptions and sacks, both of which bode well for their defense heading into a home matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. The Vikings have forced multiple turnovers in three of their six games this season while recording multiple sacks in four of their six games. That makes them a safe bet against an offense that has proven to be largely ineffective this season.
