After three weeks the NFL season is beginning to take form, as is your fantasy football league. For the 1-2, or 0-3 fantasy managers, fear not! There is a lot of football left to be played and here are some additional waiver wire options to consider (under 50% ownership) that can help fill a weak spot on your roster (See more of my takes for this week in our main Waiver Wire Adds for Week 4 article).
Eric Ebron, TE, Pittsburgh Steelers
As someone who ended up drafting Eric Ebron in the majority of fantasy leagues, it feels good to be able to add him to this list. After a quiet week one, Ebron improved to a three catch, 43-yard performance in week two, to follow up with a five-catch, 50-yard, 1-TD performance in Week 3. Steady improvement and involvement are nice to see from Ebron as he develops chemistry with Ben Roethlisberger.
Ebron should clearly be the Steelers number one option at tight end ahead of Vance McDonald and expect to see Ebron stay involved with the Steelers offense. Ebron is a solid floor, reasonable ceiling player, whose best performances in Pittsburgh could be ahead of him. Ebron is rostered in 24.4% of ESPN leagues.
Jeff Wilson Jr., RB, San Francisco 49ers
A number two back, on a run-oriented football team. As long as Raheem Mostert and Tevin Coleman are sidelined with injuries, consider Wilson a flex candidate. Talented player, on a good team, with good volume. You could do a lot worse than Wilson Jr. versus the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday night. Wilson Jr. is rostered in 14.5% of ESPN leagues.
Keelan Cole, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars
Cole has been the most consistent pass catcher for the Jaguars through three games. Cole could be considered for spot starts throughout the fantasy season, including week four against the Bengals. Cole is rostered in 26.7% of ESPN leagues.
Brandon Aiyuk, WR, San Francisco 49ers
Big game against the Giants in week three and should remain involved in the offense regardless of Deebo Samuel’s availability. Solid stash option. Aiyuk is rostered in 16.6% of ESPN leagues.
Logan Thomas, TE, Washington Football Team
Thomas has performed well for Washington through three games and looks to be one of the more involved players offensively for the Football Team averaging eight targets a game. Washington figures to be throwing more often than not, and Thomas can serve as a solid option. Thomas is rostered in 19.1% of ESPN leagues.
