This is it, the final week of the regular season is here. Now that most of us have wrapped up our fantasy leagues for the year it’s time to go all out in DFS.
Starting here in Week 17 and throughout the entire NFL Playoffs, the DFS slate will be stocked with primetime stars making it very difficult to put together a lineup without feeling like you’ve missed out on some really great players.
In my opinion, the best way to set a DFS lineup, especially once we get into the playoffs, is to stack the players on the team that you feel has the best matchup and best chance to hit big. Here in Week 17 we have all 32 teams playing on one day, so there will be tons of great matchups to exploit. Here I will list my top 3 DFS stack plays for Week 17.

DFS stack plays
Patrick Mahomes (FD $9,500, DK $7,100) and Travis Kelce (FD $7,700, DK $7,200)
The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Oakland Raiders this week with a first round bye on the line. The last time these two teams met, Mahomes and Kelce absolutely destroyed this secondary with Mahomes scoring 33 fantasy points and Kelce scoring a whopping 42.8 fantasy points! These two have been dominant all season and this week should be no different facing a defense that ranks 29th in the league against the pass.
The weakest part of this Raiders defense is in the slot where just two weeks ago JuJu Smith Schuster scored 33 points against them, and that just happens to be where Kelce lines up almost exclusively. Even with the high price tags I think these two need to be started all over DFS.

Philip Rivers (FD $8,00, DK $6,400) and Keenan Allen (FD $7,600, DK $7,900)
Philip Rivers and the LA Chargers will travel to Denver this week to face the Broncos in a huge game that could decide the Chargers’ playoff fate. The last time these two teams faced off, the Broncos pulled off an amazing upset in LA, which I’m sure the Chargers have not yet forgotten, making this the perfect revenge game.
The Rivers-to-Allen connection has been strong all year with Allen receiving 7 or more targets in seven straight weeks. With Broncos top CB Chris Harris on IR, Allen is in prime position to feast on a young and inexperienced Denver secondary. After last week’s disappointing loss to the Ravens I expect Rivers to sling the ball all over the field with Allen being his top target as usual.
Jameis Winston (FD $7,600, DK $6,100) and Mike Evans (FD $7,300, DK $7,700)
This week the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will host division rival Atlanta Falcons in a game that features two high-flying offenses and two terrible defenses; basically a DFS players dream.
Bucs QB Jameis Winston has been playing very well as of late scoring over 23 fantasy points in three of his last five outings (he played Dallas and Baltimore in the two games below 20). This week he gets an unbelievable matchup against the 25th ranked defense against the pass, giving up over 24 fantasy points per game.
As always, Mike Evans is the top WR in this Bucs offense, scoring double digits in six of his last seven games while commanding a huge target share. With how bad the Bucs defense is I think they can fall down early to Atlanta, forcing them to throw the ball over and over, giving both Winston and Evans a shot at having monster games.
